We have consulted our engineering team on this matter and do not expect any significant damage if the battery was stored outside, inside the scooter, since we issued these safety recommendations.

If you're concerned because of irregularities you experienced during the winter and spring months:
Batteries stored at low temperatures tend to retain their capacity throughout their life, but temporarily reduce their range. This means that you may have to expect slightly less range when it is cold while driving, but this is normal and does not represent permanent damage. Only before the battery is connected to the charger for charging should you give it about 1 hour to adapt to room temperature if it has been stored in the cold before.

If you are generally concerned about the health of your battery after leaving it outside in the scooter for a longer period of time, please visually check the connector and casing for damages like corrosion and dust. If in doubt, please contact our team at [email protected] to help you assess the health of your battery.
